My conversation résumé

Updated August 5th, 2026, from the flat I share with my brother in Rouen, France.

In conversations, the same questions come back. Preparing answer to these questions helps to come with good stories and enjoy the exchange.

Daily life

What did you do over the weekend? Anything notable?

How is your week/day going?

How is your family/significant other?

How is work going?

On était quatrième.

Les revenus ne sont pas encore viables. Je vise 10 000 € par mois.

Personal

What are your hobbies?

J'ai testé plusieurs styles : House, Hip-hop, Zouk, Bachata. En ce moment, je fais de l'improvisation (Go Through, Dance for life).

Where are you from?

I'm from the hexagon (France) -
We like to think about our country as an hexagon.
I think it reassure us, it gives us a sens of where we stand in the world.
And it flatter the idea we have of ourselves as rational persons.

More especially from Normandy -
So I'm a Norman.
Norman literally meant "North men".
It trace back to a thousand years, when the land has been conquered by Vikings from Norway.

I grew up in Rouen -
I used to resent this city.
I left, went far, and came back.
Now I build my business here, and I run a movement practice under one of its bridges.

How long have you lived at your current location and worked at your current job?

Where did you go to school and what subjects and activities were you involved in?

I spent so many time in studies.
At first, I neglected them.
Then I started over from scratch, ranked first at university, and went on to join a France's top engineering school.
Back then, dreaming of becoming an artist drove me through it all.

What do you do for work?

I build websites for craftsmen.
I wrote Python code for fifteen years before that.

Notable

What are your most unique experiences?

Going down the wild Orne river in a canoe-trip with my brother

120km, 8 days, and so many emotions. I watched in awe at the places we passed through. We faced issues in the first few days. After 3 days, we had only achieved 10% of the journey. The last 3 days were exhausting. It reinforced the connection I have with my brother. I feel so calm when I'm in the middle of nowhere.

J'ai tout détaillé ici.

Aerobatics

This is totally crazy. We did rolls, loops, stalled spins. I was so sick after it. I still feel the adrenaline. I took me 3 days to realize what happened.

Skydiving.

J'en parle ici.

LSD

It drove me in and 20h trip. I went so far. It was fascinating: strong and powerful hallucinations. It was scary too: some friend panicked, and we really wondered if it would stop one day. I'm still shocked when I think about it today.
